7Automated And Assumptive Form Filling
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Hirelayer may use AI-assisted and automated systems to populate employment application forms.
Some third-party application forms contain questions that do not directly correspond to information in your Hirelayer profile.
Where appropriate, Hirelayer may attempt to determine the most likely or appropriate response based on information available to the system.
These assumptions may be incorrect.
For example, an application may ask:
"How many years of experience do you have with X?"
while your profile contains related but differently structured information.
Hirelayer may attempt to calculate or infer an answer from the information available to it.
That inference may be wrong.
User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Automated form filling is provided as a convenience;
- AI-generated answers can be incorrect;
- Third-party forms may contain ambiguous or unexpected questions;
- Hirelayer cannot guarantee that every automatically populated field is correct;
- You remain responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of information submitted in your name;
- You should review application information whenever a review opportunity is provided;
- You should promptly correct inaccurate information of which you become aware.
Sensitive and Protected Information
Hirelayer will not intentionally infer sensitive or protected personal characteristics merely to complete an application field.
Unless expressly provided and authorized by you, Hirelayer should not infer or fabricate information concerning matters such as:
- Race or ethnicity;
- Religion;
- Disability or medical condition;
- Sexual orientation;
- Gender identity;
- Veteran status;
- Genetic information;
- Criminal history;
- Citizenship;
- Immigration status;
- Work authorization;
- Need for disability accommodation;
- Other legally protected or highly sensitive characteristics.
Where an application requires information that Hirelayer cannot reliably determine, Hirelayer may leave the field incomplete, request user input, or provide another available workflow rather than inventing an answer.
Material Qualifications
Hirelayer will not intentionally fabricate:
- Degrees;
- Employers;
- Employment history;
- Job titles;
- Employment dates;
- Professional licenses;
- Certifications;
- Compensation history;
- Years of experience;
- Skills;
- Work authorization;
- Sponsorship requirements;
- Other material professional qualifications.
If information necessary to complete an application is unavailable or ambiguous, Hirelayer may request clarification or use an appropriate user-controlled workflow.
Automated Submission Risk
If you enable automated application submission, you acknowledge that an application may be submitted without your individual review of every field.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate profile information and for configuring your automation settings appropriately.
Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hirelayer will not be responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information generated or inferred by an automated system where:
- The information was not intentionally supplied by Hirelayer as a verified fact;
- The information was generated or inferred through automated processing;
- The user had responsibility or an opportunity to review or correct the information; or
- The inaccurate information resulted from a third-party application system or third-party data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8Application Submission
When you authorize Hirelayer to submit applications, Hirelayer may transmit application information and materials to employers, ATS platforms, job boards, or other third parties.
You remain the applicant.
Hirelayer does not become your employer, recruiter, legal representative, immigration representative, or employment representative.
You remain responsible for:
- The truthfulness of your qualifications;
- Your employment history;
- Your education;
- Your certifications and licenses;
- Your work authorization;
- Your application responses;
- Your availability;
- Your compensation expectations;

Where Hirelayer provides an approval or review step, you are responsible for reviewing the application before approving submission.
Where you enable an automated application feature that does not require individual approval, you authorize Hirelayer to submit applications that satisfy the parameters you have configured.
You may disable automated application functionality through available account settings.

- Education;
- Credentials;
- Certifications;
- Licenses;
- Professional experience;
- Achievements;
- References;
- Other material qualifications.
You are responsible for reviewing generated materials before using them.
13Email And Communication Features
If you connect an email account or communications integration, you authorize Hirelayer to access and process information necessary to provide the enabled features.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Email metadata;
- Sender and recipient information;
- Subject lines;
- Email content;
- Attachments;
- Recruiter communications;
