Senior Software Engineer, Customer Studio Backend

About the Role Join a product-focused backend team building a no-code platform that helps customers activate data directly from their warehouses. You will shape a fast-growing product area, contributing to its architecture, reliability, and continued development. What You'll Do Improve warehouse query performance, including query optimization and precomputed state. Build analytics and experimentation capabilities for audience creation and downstream performance tracking. Explore real-time audience computation and syncing as data infrastructure evolves. Develop product experiences that make data workflows more seamless, including opportunities to apply generative AI. Contribute to product specifications and use customer feedback to guide backend architecture and implementation. What We're Looking For Six or more years of backend engineering experience, including substantial work designing and building systems at high-growth technology companies. Staff-level experience or demonstrated responsibility at a comparable level, with a record of career progression and sustained contributions. Strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals, with sound judgment around scalability, maintainability, and reliability. Experience building modern backend systems with a strong product and user perspective, and a willingness to engage with customers and iterate on feedback. Strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges. A degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent foundational expertise. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $180,000 to $320,000 USD annually.
